PLAYING IN THE COURTYARD MADE BY THE QING DYNASTY'S RENTANG. Height:30cm (11.81in) , Diameter:15cm (5.91in) Flared mouth, short constricted neck, full shoulder, cylindrical tapering body and ring foot, well?proportioned classic lantern?vase form. Neck decorated with yellow?ground underglaze?blue plantain?leaf border. Shoulder and foot encircled by richly decorated bands of yellow?ground famille?rose scrolling flowers and underglaze?blue?enamel lotus?petal motifs. Main body painted with continuous garden scene of playful children amid bamboos, plantains, rocks and railings. Vivid figures and layered landscape rendered in bright soft palette. White base bears iron?red seal?script square mark ??Ju?Ren?Tang Zhi??. The Ju?Ren?Tang mark represents important official?style porcelain of the Republican era.
