PHOENIX-PATTERNED PILE SCULPTURE GILDED CHILONG LONG NECK VASE. Height:47cm (18.50in) , Diameter:21cm (8.27in) An imposing imperial?style display vase of Qianlong reign. Slender long neck and full ovoid body. The neck is painted with rosy?cloud and sun motif. A three?dimensional gilded chilong dragon is moulded and coiled over the shoulder with detailed scales and claws. The main body depicts a magnificent phoenix soaring above turbulent waves in famille?rose enamels, with rocky outcrops among foaming sea waters. The ??phoenix facing the sun?? theme symbolizes auspicious prosperity. Fine painting, rich palette, combining painted enamel and relief?moulding techniques. The base bears six?character blue?and?white seal mark ??Da Qing Qian Long Nian Zhi??. ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.
