PERFORMING IN THE MARKETPLACE, STICK AND HAMMER VASE. Height:46cm (18.11in) , Diameter:20cm (7.87in) A stately mallet?shaped vase with straight mouth, long neck, tall cylindrical body and ring foot. Neck is adorned with multi?layer blue enamel geometric border patterns. The main body features a continuous famille?rose scene of numerous folk performers with varied vivid expressions, holding musical instruments and variety?show props. Richly coloured robes and finely detailed figures vividly recreate lively ancient civilian festive entertainment. The base is decorated with gilt?edged iron?red dragon?cloud ground, centred by six?character blue?and?white regular?script mark ??Da Qing Yong Zheng Nian Zhi?? within double circle.
