JADE HUCHUN VASE. <br>Height:30cm (11.81in) , Diameter:16cm (6.30in) Imperial blue?and?white yuhuchun vase of Yongle reign, with flared rim, slender neck, pendulous belly and ring foot, presenting elegant soft silhouette. The exterior painted with a powerful dragon soaring among swirling clouds. The dragon is robustly rendered with meticulously scaled body, sharp claws and flowing mane. Cobalt pigment yields rich vivid blue with vigorous brushwork characteristic of Yongle?Xuande porcelain. Unglazed foot ring shows fine?grained body, retains old collection label evidencing provenance.
