Frederick carder for steuben glass works — four colored-glass fan vases, shape no. 6287 — corning, new york, circa 1925–30 The assembled group comprising four flattened, tapering fan-form vases, each with an oval pinched mouth, knopped stem and applied circular foot. Includes two optic-ribbed Pomona Green examples on Amber or Topaz-colored feet; one Amber-colored example; and one pale green example with closely spaced horizontal trailing above a green foot. Blown, optic-molded, trailed and applied glass Apparently unsigned Quantity: 4 Approximately 8 1/2 in. high each; exact individual measurements not provided Condition: Overall good vintage condition. Scattered light surface scratches, shelf wear and minor internal bubbles or irregularities consistent with age and manufacture. A small green glass irregularity is present near the rim of the amber example. No conspicuous chips, cracks or repairs are evident from the photographs. Each should be examined firsthand before sale.
