Frederick carder for steuben glass works — a collection of five tall art-glass candlesticks — corning, new york, circa 1920s–30s Comprising a pair in colorless optic-ribbed glass with elongated baluster stems and scalloped circular feet; a pair in transparent amethyst glass with elongated ribbed stems, broad drip pans and baluster-form candle cups; and a taller Bristol Yellow example constructed with two large optic-ribbed spherical knops, smaller annular knops and a scalloped spreading foot. Apparently unsigned or marks not photographed. Quantity: 5 Material: Hand-blown transparent colored and colorless glass Dimensions: Not provided; the Bristol Yellow example appears tallest Condition: Apparently very good overall. Minor surface wear and scattered bubbles and irregularities associated with hand production. No conspicuous chips, cracks or repairs visible in the photographs. The candle sockets, drip-pan edges and feet should be examined carefully.
