Attributed to frederick carder for steuben glass works — two iridescent “onion-skin” art-glass vases — corning, new york, circa 1910–20 Comprising a squat baluster-form vase in deep Red Aurene, with a broad everted mouth displaying gold, violet and green iridescence; and a taller ovoid vase in amber-brown iridescent glass with a small circular mouth. Both with finely textured “onion-skin” surfaces. Each with a finished circular pontil area to the underside; apparently unmarked. Quantity: 2 Material: Blown and iridized glass Dimensions: Not provided Condition: Apparently very good overall, with minor surface wear and isolated small abrasions. No conspicuous chips, cracks or repairs visible.
