Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (Japanese, 1839-1892) woodblock print, Meiji Period, "1 AM Geisha and Attendant by Street Stall", from the "Twenty-Four Hours at Shinbashi and Yanagibashi" series, circa 1880, depicting a geisha holding a small pail walking forward as a man looks on, calligraphic script along top and side margin, matted behind glass in simple metal goldtone frame. With expected signs of age including toning to paper, slight wave and spotted foxing. Overall measures 20 1/4" h. x 16 1/4" w; ss: 13 1/4" h. x 9 1/2" w.
