Mid-20th century pastel and charcoal on paper, female nude, depicting a reclining African American woman with one leg crossed over the other as one hand supports her body and the other grazes the ground, signed "DIXON" in lower right, matted behind glass in simple barnwood style frame. With expected signs of age including toning to paper, wear to mat and frame. Overall measures 24 1/2" h. x 30 1/2" w.; ss: 16 3/4" h. x 23 1/4" w.
