A pair of ancient Roman free-blown glass unguentaria (balsamaria / perfume bottles), dating to the 1st - 3rd century AD. Each vessel features an elongated neck with a flattened, flared rim and a tubular-to-tapered body executed in semi-translucent pale green glass. Displaying vibrant silver and rainbow iridescence from centuries of burial, 4 inches long. Condition noted: shows active flaking to the iridescent patina layer (glass weathering), surface soil encrustation, and a repaired chip / crack to the rim of one vessel.
