Eight-piece of rare Chinese scholarly publications, including 7 volumes of the Journal of the West China Border Research Society (Chengdu, 1930s) featuring bilingual articles on regional history and ethnography. The lot is highlighted by a scarce 1898 Hong Kong bilingual edition of the Confucian Sz-Shoo (Four Books), bound in traditional right-to-left orientation with English translation over Chinese text. Condition noted: periodicals show age-toning and cover wear; the 1898 volume shows severe edge wear, chipping, and spine tape / repair, though text remains legible.
