Antique Detachable 22K Gold Enamel and Diamond Bracelet.

Bracelet Length:17cm Wt:62.7g
Entirely hand?crafted in 22K gold, originating from the golden age of European antique jewellery. During this era, aristocratic patronage shifted from ostentatious display of wealth toward artistic and sartorial self?expression. Convertible dual?wear designs, enamel work and monogram commissions came into vogue. Guilloch?? enamel craftsmanship reached its pinnacle in premier French ateliers and became a defining technique of royal?court jewellery. The bracelet links are set with natural wild pearls, a classic gemstone favoured in 19th?century European aristocratic jewellery. Each pearl is a natural salt?water specimen of consistent size. The interlaced monogram, formed by two entwined letters, is rendered against central blue enamel. Artistically stylised from the wearer's name and family crest, such monograms signified status and bespoke commission in 19th?century Europe. Mostly privately ordered for nobility and royalty, they carry the significance of familial heritage. The plaque's perimeter is adorned with scrolling foliage and volute motifs, blending Neoclassicism and Rococo Revival aesthetics, representative of mid?19th?century European jewellery taste.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS, REFUNDS, OR CANCELLATIONS.

Condition and Authenticity:

Any statement in the catalogue, condition report, photographs, video, invoice, or other written or oral communication regarding the origin, date, age, attribution, authorship, authenticity, provenance, material, condition, or estimated selling price of any lot is a statement of opinion only.
