Aesop's-Fable-Themed Ruby Diamond-Set Chased-Gold Enamel Pendant. 4*7.2cm Wt:24.7g Its central design draws from Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Cock", which recounts the tale of a cunning fox attempting to beguile a rooster with honeyed words. Crafted in 18K gold with three?dimensional curved enamel, rubies and diamonds, it bears the French eagle?head hallmark on the side. Defined by fluid curves, naturalistic animal forms and rich enamel hues. The fox's head forms the pendant's frame; brushed?gold work simulates the texture of its fur. The rooster's plumage is meticulously rendered in multi?toned enamel. Gradations of white, yellow, blue and red bring it vividly to life.
