Issued: February 13, 1926Design: Map of the United States with two de Havilland DH-4 biplanes (one flying east, one west)Color: Dark blue (catalogued as dark blue; lighter blue shades also exist)Printing: Flat plate, Bureau of Engraving and PrintingPerforation: 11Watermark: NoneQuantity issued: Approximately 42 million Front: Appears sound with decent color and reasonably good centering for the issue. No obvious tears, thin spots, or heavy creases visible.Back: Shows original gum with disturbance, hinging residue/marks, and some yellowish toning or staining. This indicates it is mint hinged (MH) rather than mint never-hinged (MNH).Overall grade is roughly Fine to Very Fine (F-VF) for a hinged example, depending on exact centering and the extent of the gum issues under magnification.
