A pair of vintage pressed glass candlesticks in the style of Hazel Atlas, produced in a deep amethyst purple colour. Each piece features a wide, bowl-shaped candle cup with vertical fluting on the exterior and a central cylindrical socket. The cups are supported by short, flared necks resting on heavy square pedestal bases. The bases are hollowed out underneath. The form and colour are characteristic of mid-20th-century glassware, similar to the Moroccan Amethyst pattern. Height approx. 6.5 cm Base width approx. 6.5 cm. Condition: The candlesticks are in generally good vintage condition. Minor flea bite chips and shelf wear are visible along the lower edges of the square bases. A small amount of white residue is present inside the candle sockets. The glass contains occasional small seed bubbles from the production process.
