A large twin-handled wine or champagne cooler of pedestal form, featuring a bulbous body and a wide flared rim decorated with a scalloped and scrolling foliate border. The cooler is fitted with two ornate cast scroll-work handles and stands on a flared pedestal foot. A removable internal liner, likely fashioned from aluminium, is included. The underside of the base features a hand-inscribed numeric sequence 06202464 and a faint, illegible struck mark. Height: approx. 26.5 cm Rim Diameter: approx. 24 cm. Condition: The exterior silver-plated surface is heavily tarnished with a dark patina and exhibits areas of pitting and wear to the plating throughout. The internal liner shows surface oxidation and wear consistent with age and use.
