Eumig Wien Type P8 Automatic Novo standard 8mm film projector, manufactured in Austria. The unit features a die-cast metal body with a beige crinkle-texture finish. It is equipped with a Eumig Eupro-Zoom f/1.3 15-25mm lens. A manufacturer's plate on the rear identifies the unit as Apparat Nr. 1613440 and indicates it was produced for Eumig of Canada, Toronto. The projector includes a voltage selector dial currently set to 117V and a detachable power cable with a two-prong North American style plug. A grey plastic Eumig branded take-up reel marked Made in Austria is included. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): H approx. 24.8 cm x W approx. 19.7 cm (note: ruler shows inches only). Condition: The projector is in fair cosmetic condition showing surface wear and dust consistent with age. The top drive belt has perished and degraded into a black sticky residue, requiring cleaning and replacement before use. The rear spring belt appears intact. The external lens element is clear and free of significant scratches. The unit is untested for mechanical or electrical operation.
