1998 Chicago Bulls Six-Time NBA Champions Ownership 14K Gold Watch Presented To Limited Partner Norman Jacobs With Original Box. An exceptionally rare 1998 Chicago Bulls Six-Time NBA Champions ownership presentation watch, one of the exclusive championship watches presented to members of the Chicago Bulls ownership group following the franchise's sixth NBA title, with this example personally presented to Bulls limited partner Norman "Norm" Jacobs. Unlike commercially available commemorative watches and championship merchandise, these special presentation pieces were reserved for members of Bulls ownership, making the present example a genuine artifact from inside the organization during the final season of the Michael Jordan dynasty. The provenance is particularly compelling, as Jacobs was a documented limited partner in Jerry Reinsdorf's Chicago Bulls ownership group and received personalized championship awards throughout the team's historic run, including Bulls championship rings from 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1997 and 1998, as well as a 1993 Three Peat championship presentation watch. Another virtually identical 1998 Six Time World Champions watch has surfaced bearing provenance to fellow Bulls minority owner Carol "Mickey" Norton, further illustrating the exclusive ownership presentation of these watches. The present Swiss made timepiece features a 14K gold dial decorated with a basketball motif, the Chicago Bulls logo and the words "Six Time World Champions," while the reverse is prominently personalized "PRESENTED TO Norman Jacobs" beneath the NBA logo and "1998 NBA Champions." Additional markings identify the 14K gold dial, stainless steel case, Swiss manufacture and water resistance, while the watch is fitted with a black Kreisler Croco Grain leather strap. Equally impressive is its original fitted wooden presentation box, specially engraved with the Chicago Bulls logo and "1998 NBA Champions." The championship commemorated represents the unforgettable conclusion of one of professional sports' greatest dynasties, as Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and head coach Phil Jackson captured Chicago's sixth championship in eight seasons and completed a second three peat. Jordan's steal from Karl Malone followed by his iconic go ahead jumper over Bryon Russell in Game 6 of the NBA Finals secured the championship and produced the defining final image of his Bulls career. With its exclusive distribution to Bulls ownership, direct personalization to documented limited partner Norman Jacobs, original championship presentation box and connection to Michael Jordan's sixth and final Chicago championship, this extraordinary watch represents a true ownership level artifact from the closing chapter of the legendary Bulls dynasty.
