1996 Chicago Bulls NBA Champions Ownership Watch Presented To Limited Partner Norman Jacobs With Original Box. An exceptionally rare 1996 Chicago Bulls NBA Championship ownership presentation watch, one of the exclusive championship watches presented to members of the Chicago Bulls ownership group following the franchise's historic fourth NBA title, with this example personally awarded to Bulls limited partner Norman "Norm" Jacobs. The provenance is particularly compelling, as both the watch and its original presentation case identify Jacobs by name, with the case bearing a gold plaque reading "Chicago Bulls 1996 World Champions awarded to Norman Jacobs" and the stainless steel case back separately engraved "NORMAN JACOBS." Jacobs was a documented member of Jerry Reinsdorf's Bulls ownership group during the Michael Jordan dynasty and received personalized championship awards throughout Chicago's extraordinary run, making this a genuine ownership level artifact rather than conventional retail memorabilia. The striking black and gold dial celebrates each of Chicago's first four championships with the years 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1996, four championship trophy motifs, the iconic Bulls logo and "World Champions." The Swiss quartz watch is marked Jostens and retains a black genuine lizard Jostens strap, while the original fitted black and red presentation case and accompanying Montreux watch paperwork further enhance the completeness of the offering. The championship commemorated was one of the most important in NBA history. After Michael Jordan's return to basketball, the 1995-96 Bulls went 72 and 10, at the time establishing the greatest regular season record in league history, before defeating the Seattle SuperSonics in the NBA Finals. Jordan captured the league MVP, All Star Game MVP and Finals MVP awards, while the championship launched Chicago's second three peat alongside Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman and head coach Phil Jackson. Particularly significant is the survival of Jacobs' corresponding 1998 Six Time World Champions ownership presentation watch, creating a remarkable connection between the beginning and completion of the Bulls' second three peat. With its exclusive ownership presentation, dual personalization to Norman Jacobs, original presentation case, period paperwork and direct connection to Michael Jordan's historic 72 win championship season, this exceptional watch represents a rare artifact from inside the Chicago Bulls organization at the height of the dynasty.
