1991 Salem Sportswear Chicago Bulls 1991 Central Division Champions T-Shirt (Size L). Commemorating the regular season breakthrough that helped launch one of the greatest dynasties in professional sports. Tagged Size L, this original period shirt features a classic heather gray body with an oversized red, black and orange graphic incorporating the iconic Chicago Bulls logo, basketball imagery and bold "1991 Central Division Champions" lettering, along with Salem Sportswear branding and the official NBA licensed product mark. The Bulls finished the historic 1990 to 1991 season with a 61 and 21 record, setting a franchise record for victories at the time and capturing the Central Division crown as Michael Jordan earned his second NBA Most Valuable Player Award. Led by Jordan alongside Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant and head coach Phil Jackson, Chicago entered the postseason as a championship contender before sweeping the two time defending champion Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals and defeating Magic Johnson and the Los Angeles Lakers to capture the first NBA championship in Bulls history. The 1991 season represented the true beginning of the Jordan era dynasty, ultimately producing six championships in eight seasons and transforming the Bulls into one of the most recognizable teams in the world. With its unmistakable early 1990s Salem Sportswear design and direct connection to the first championship season of Michael Jordan's legendary run, this Central Division Champions shirt is an outstanding piece of vintage Chicago Bulls memorabilia.
