Featuring an intricate organic still life composition, this original work on paper is hand-signed in pencil "Judith Pierce" along the lower right margin. Constructed with a blend of fine detail and rich texture, the illustration depicts a vertical assembly of natural elements including bird feathers, smooth river stones, animal horn or antler, pine needles, and patterned butterfly wings. The piece comes professionally housed in a dark molded wood frame with gilt accent trim, a cream-coloredmat, glass glazing, and a rear hanging wire alongside a Pueblo, Colorado framer's label. The artwork is in excellent condition with vibrant pigments and no visible toning or foxing across the sight area. The dark wooden frame shows light, minoredge scuffing and light finish wear consistent with handling, while the paper dust cover on the reverse exhibits mild age toning and liquid staining along the upper margin. Overall frame dimensions measure 23.25 inches high by 12.5 inches wide witha 2.25-inch mat depth.
