Santini & Ruggeri Faux Marble Pieta Figures

Two Italian molded composite (resin) religious sculptures, this lot features detailed reproductions of classic Renaissance masterworks. The larger piece depicts Michelangelo's Pieta, constructed of bonded faux marble and bearing the molded signature "A. Santini" on the reverse above a black oval base. The second sculpture represents the Florentine Piet' (The Deposition), constructed of a similar alabaster-like material and marked "G. RUGGERI" alongside "' BIANCHI" along the bottom edge of its stepped base. Both statues present in good display condition, showing normal signs of age. Expected wear includes minor surface scuffing, localized discoloration, and light dust accumulation within the deeper folds and recesses of the cast material. There are no obvious severe chips, cracks, or structural losses visible. Dimensions:12" tall and 10" wide on the oval base for the larger figure; 7.5" tall and 4" wide for the smaller figure.
