LLADR PORCELAIN GEESE - SET OF THREE, "COLECCIN DE PATITOS", Nos. 4551, 4552, AND 4553, BRILLO GLOSS FINISH, WITH ORIGINAL BOX The fourteenth Lladr lot from this estate and the only multi-piece set in the group. Three small white geese or ducklings, each in a different pose, all finished in glossy white porcelain with soft gray-blue and pale peach webbed feet on a low oval pad base and tiny painted black eyes. The box end label identifies the set directly, printed Brillo, N 4552 4551 4553, Coleccin de patitos, so the three pieces here are the complete set as originally boxed. All three carry the blue printed LLADR backstamp reading HAND MADE IN SPAIN with a DAISA copyright line on hollow open bases. The original older-style pale blue Lladr carton is included, printed with the bell-flower logo, LLADR, VALENCIA - ESPAA, and the paired lines LEGITIMA PORCELANA LLADRO and GENUINE LLADRO PORCELAIN. Sizes run approximately 3.5 to 4 inches tall for the two upright birds and about 5.5 inches long for the stretching bird. The box is worn and taped and one photograph came out out of focus. Sold as a set of three with the one original box. Description Piece one, the stretching goose: neck extended nearly horizontal and reaching forward and down with the bill open, body low and tail up, standing on a low oval pad base with modeled webbed feet washed gray-blue and pale peach. Approximately 5.5 inches long per its tape-measure photograph. The underside is hollow with a large vent hole and is marked with the blue printed Lladr bell-flower logo and LLADR, with smaller lines reading HAND MADE IN SPAIN and a DAISA copyright, along with faint impressed characters that are not legible in the photograph. Piece two, the preening goose: neck curved down and back in a deep S with the bill tucked against the breast and wing, body upright, on a low oval pad base with gray-blue and peach webbed feet. Approximately 3.5 inches tall per its tape-measure photograph. The underside is hollow with a vent hole and carries the same blue printed Lladr backstamp, photographed at an angle and only partly legible. Piece three, the upright goose: neck raised and head lifted with the bill pointing up and slightly forward, wings folded, tail out behind, on a low oval pad base with gray-blue and peach webbed feet. Approximately 3.5 to 4 inches tall per its tape-measure photograph. The underside is hollow with a vent hole and carries the same blue printed Lladr backstamp with a partly legible impressed character. All three finished in bright glossy white porcelain with small painted black eyes, pale peach-tipped bills, and the gray-blue base pads that tie the three together as a set. No model number is legible on any of the three bases in these photographs. The numbers 4551, 4552, and 4553 are read from the printed end label on the original box, which shows a black and white photograph of all three birds in exactly these three poses. Original box included, an older-style pale blue L
