The inner rim around each oval is finished in a glossy beaded rope band with iridescent glitter accents that catch the light, and the center of each rose carries a small pearlescent gold-toned dot, so the frames read as bridal or romantic-cottage decor rather than plain white pottery. The backs are cast in one piece with an integral ceramic easel prop, so each frame stands on its own without hardware, and each is stamped on the back with a small red oval ink mark that is too soft and too small to read in the photographs, so no maker is claimed. Description Quantity: three frames, all the same mold, same size, and same ivory glaze treatment, appearing to be a factory-matched set. Form: upright frame of molded ceramic, roughly square with softly flared shoulders and a shaped foot, centered on a vertical oval picture opening. The face is decorated in relief with large open roses at the corners with leaves and stems, laid over a ribbed basketweave or bound-reed ground that also forms the border immediately around the oval. Finish: overall matte to satin ivory or off-white with no painted color. The oval opening is edged with a glossy beaded band carrying clear iridescent glitter or applied crystal-effect specks, and each rose center holds a small raised pearl-like dot with a pale gold luster.
