LARGE LOT OF LLADR COLLECTOR LITERATURE - EXPRESSIONS AND PRIVILEGE MAGAZINES, DEALER BROCHURES, SOCIETY MAILINGS, AND THE 1993 OFFICIAL IDENTIFICATION CATALOG AND PRICE GUIDE A thick accumulation of Lladr porcelain collector paper, assembled by one collector over roughly a decade and offered here as a single lot. The centerpiece for reference purposes is the softbound THE OFFICIAL LLADR COLLECTION IDENTIFICATION CATALOG AND PRICE GUIDE, First Edition: 1993, Dr. Glenn S. Johnson, The Lladr Collectors Society - a fat photo-illustrated volume that lists figurines by item number with sculptor, issue and retirement dates, size, and market values, still the standard starting point for anyone trying to identify a Lladr piece from the base mark and shape. Stacked with it are multiple issues of the society magazine EXPRESSIONS (issues visible include the Sports edition, the Christmas international edition, and a Members Party issue, with spine lines reading Vol. 15 No. 3 1999, Vol. 16 No. 1 2000, Vol. 16 No. 2 2000, and Vol. 16 No. 3 2000), the glossy quarterly LLADR PRIVILEGE - THE BEST OF TIMES, an issue of LLADR VISTA, a run of seasonal dealer brochures including 1999 Spring Lladr Collections, a "Wishing You A Peaceful Mother's Day" mailer, THE FANTASY COLLECTION unveiling flyer with a nationwide dealer event schedule, the LLADR FANTASY CIRCUS brochure, and a multi-page THE LLADR PERSONALIZATION PROGRAM item-number list. There are also loose price sheets, membership correspondence on Lladr letterhead, and assorted single-sheet inserts throughout the stack. This is the sort of group that Lladr dealers, appraisers, estate sellers, and serious collectors buy for the identification data and the retired-piece imagery, and it also gives a paper-ephemera buyer a decade of very handsomely photographed 1990s and 2000s marketing material. Bidders following the book and paper lots in this sale should also review the other hardback, cookbook, and recipe file groups. Note this is a used working reference stack with cover wear, curling, and some staining as detailed below, and it has not been collated or counted issue by issue.
