Set of five vintage Fostoria Glass Company American pattern clear pressed-glass plates. This iconic Fostoria pattern is known for its tactile, rippling "ice-cube tray" or cubist design, with faceted geometric blocks, a radiant starburst center, and a scalloped rim. All five plates are included in this lot and sell together as one bidding unit. The metal display stand shown in photographs is not included. Each plate measures approximately 7 inches in diameter based on the tape measurement shown. These versatile pieces may be used as salad, dessert, bread-and-butter, or small serving plates, and they coordinate well with other Fostoria American No. 2056 tableware. Fostoria American is one of the company's most recognized and longest-running designs, most commonly found in clear crystal glass. Its raised cube pattern creates a distinctive light-catching look for display or table use. No major chips or cracks were observed during visual inspection. Light surface wear, mold marks, minor scratches, or other age-appropriate manufacturing variations may be present.
