Vintage Fostoria Glass Company American pattern clear glass pitcher, featuring the classic heavy pressed-glass cube, block, or geometric pattern that made American Fostoria one of the most popular and long-running U.S. glassware patterns. Fostoria introduced the American pattern in 1915 and produced it for many years in a wide variety of tableware and serving forms. This large, handled pitcher features a scalloped rim, broad curved handle, ice-lip pouring spout, thick patterned body, and starburst-style detail visible through the base. It is a substantial and attractive serving piece for water, tea, lemonade, punch, or display with other American pattern glassware. Pitcher stands approximately 7 inches tall, measures approximately 6 inches across the opening, and is about 10 inches across including the handle and spout, based on the tape measurements shown in photos. Similar American-pattern pitchers are often described as holding approximately gallon, but capacity has not been independently measured for this example. No major chips or cracks were observed during visual inspection. Minor surface wear, mold marks, light scratches, or small manufacturing variations consistent with vintage pressed glass may be present. Please review all photographs carefully, including the close-ups of the rim, handle, spout, and interior. Please read the full auction terms, preview all images, and ask any condition questions prior to bidding, everything is sold as is.
