Set of five vintage Fostoria Glass Company American pattern clear low sherbet, sundae, or dessert glasses. The American pattern was introduced in 1915 and became Fostoria's all-time best-selling pattern, produced for many years in a wide range of tableware, stemware, and serving pieces. Each glass features the iconic heavy clear pressed-glass geometric "cube" or block pattern around the bowl, along with a short flared stem and round footed base. Their classic design coordinates well with other Fostoria American pattern pieces and is ideal for serving sherbet, ice cream, fruit, pudding, parfaits, or small desserts. Glasses measure approximately 3 inches tall and approximately 3 inches across the rim, based on tape measurements shown in the photographs. This lot includes all five matching low sherbet/dessert glasses pictured; they sell together as one bidding unit and will not be split. No major chips or cracks were observed during visual inspection. Light surface wear, small mold marks, minor scratches, or age-appropriate manufacturing variations may be present.
