Artist Biography: Born in Kenya in 1942 and raised in Ethiopia, Costa later immigrated to Canada where he studied Fine Art at the University of Calgary before pursuing a career as an artist, urban planner, and architectural restorer. His internationally exhibited work is recognized for its lyrical abstraction, drawing upon decades of travel and cultural influences from around the world.
