Dimensions: Sight: 18 × 24 in. Frame: 25 × 31 in. Provenance: Teleglobe Canada An expressive original pastel by internationally recognized artist Graham Metson, depicting an intimate gathering of loosely rendered figures in his distinctive gestural style. Rich layers of pastel in muted yellows, blues, and earth tones create an atmospheric composition where faces and forms emerge from energetic marks and subtle colour transitions. The work demonstrates Metson's lifelong fascination with the human figure and emotional narrative. Artist Biography: Born in London, England, in 1934, Metson has enjoyed an international career spanning more than five decades. After teaching and exhibiting extensively throughout Europe and the United States, he settled in Canada where he became a respected educator and artist.
