Magicians Joined Dime and Cent Novelty Coin

A magician's joined novelty coin, and worth being precise: it is not two-headed and it is not two-tailed. One face is the obverse of a 1925 Mercury dime, with Liberty in her winged cap, the date clear at the lower right and Weinman's AW monogram beside the neck. The other face is the reverse of a Lincoln wheat cent, with ONE CENT between two wheat ears. Two different United States coins were machined and joined into one piece after they left the Mint, so this is an altered novelty, not a Mint product and not an error. The copper face sits visibly wider in the holder than the silver colored face, as a cent should against a dime. The dime side is even gray with light golden toning and moderate wear; the cent side is medium brown and heavily worn, with UNITED STATES OF AMERICA weak and partly gone. The seam edge was never photographed, so the construction cannot be shown and no metal content is confirmed. Pieces like this were bar bet and magic shop staples for decades.
