Vintage brown leather crossbody/shoulder bag with a rustic, utilitarian construction and naturally developed distressed patina. Measures approximately 11.5" wide x 9" tall x 3" deep. Features a large flap front, adjustable buckle closure, extensive metal rivet construction along the sides and interior seams, metal ring attachments, and shoulder/crossbody strap. The bag is largely unlined, allowing the suede side of the leather and its riveted construction to remain visible. The heavy wear, oxidation to the hardware, scratches, dark marks, fading and substantial surface patina appear consistent with an older well-used leather bag rather than a modern artificially distressed finish. Similar vintage leather satchels and 1970s-era shoulder bags commonly feature simple unlined construction, buckled flaps and aged metal hardware. No maker's mark is visible in the provided photos, so I would not attribute it to a specific manufacturer or exact decade without additional markings. Overall condition is heavily distressed with extensive cosmetic wear, scuffing, staining and oxidation throughout, but this gives the bag a strong vintage/bohemian appearance. See photos for full details.
