2004-W American Silver Eagle one-ounce proof coin issued by the United States Mint and struck at the West Point Mint. Contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver with a $1 face value and “W” mint mark. Features Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty design on the obverse and John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle on the reverse. The U.S. Mint announced a maximum mintage of 850,000 for the 2004 proof issue. Coin remains housed in its protective capsule and includes the original blue velvet U.S. Mint presentation case, outer box, and Certificate of Authenticity/paperwork, as shown.
