2005-W American Silver Eagle one-ounce proof coin issued by the United States Mint and struck at the West Point Mint. Contains 1 troy ounce of .999 fine silver with a $1 face value and “W” mint mark. Features Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty obverse and John Mercanti’s heraldic eagle reverse. The 2005 Silver Eagle was produced by the West Point Mint as an official proof collector issue. Coin is housed in its protective capsule and includes the original blue velvet U.S. Mint presentation case, outer box, and Certificate of Authenticity/paperwork, as shown.
