A classic duo of American two-tone stoneware featuring a utilitarian crock and a matching lidded jar. Both pieces showcase a dark brown slip glaze atop a light tan Bristol-style base, epitomizing early 20th-century kitchenware. The largercrock exhibits prominent interior throwing rings, while the smaller countertop-sized jar retains its original domed lid with a knob handle. Largest measures at 9.5 inches tall.The stoneware exhibits bold colors and a glossy finish. A small chip is noted on the lid rim (photo 4). The bases are stable with typical kiln staining and minor glaze pops consistent with age.
