A two-piece collection of stoneware featuring a lidded storage jar and a whiskey-style jug, both decorated with hand-painted Pennsylvania Dutch folk art motifs. The jar displays a narrative scene with figures and a cottage, while the jugfeatures a symmetrical floral and heart design. Both pieces are finished with a black coating over unglazed buff clay bases, though no maker marks or labels are present. Tallest measures at 11 inches.This pair features bold hand-painted colors and crisp lid edges. Each item reflects its age with character, including a minor base chip on the jug.
