Presented framed. Provenance: From a private Spanish-American collection. Documentation concerning its acquisition in Spain is unknown. The above provenance reflects the ownership history that accompanied the artwork at the time it was received for cataloging. Visual Description: This animated abstract composition presents a dense constellation of biomorphic forms, circular motifs, stars, and sweeping linear elements against a textured ochre ground. Areas of vivid green, red, cobalt blue, orange, white, and black overlap and interlock, suggesting eyes, celestial bodies, masks, and imaginary creatures. Fine curving lines move across the composition and connect the larger shapes, while scattered starbursts reinforce its dreamlike, cosmic atmosphere. The combination of playful forms, symbolic imagery, and rhythmic movement creates a lively Surrealist visual language. Bears an inscription reading “Miró” near the lower left. This composition reflects stylistic elements commonly associated with major figures in modern and contemporary art.
