R Serial # NSN. .22 Sh-L-LR caliber bolt action rifle with a 22” barrel. The bore is excellent, clean with good rifling with some light fouling. Detachable magazine. The blued metal finish on the barrel and the grooved receiver is in good condition showing light muzzle wear with thinning, scratches and scattered spots of light surface rust. The floor plate shows edge wear with light freckling. The plain walnut stock is in good condition showing scattered light marks with scattered light finish wear. The stock bullseye is missing. Swivel studs. Original front sight missing the hood, the rear sight has been removed and the dovetail filled with a blank. The receiver mounted peep sight is missing. Plastic butt plate. The action works fine. Includes a BSA 4x20 scope mounted to the grooved receiver. Made from 1941-1964. C&R.
