R Serial # 418. 12 Ga hammer fired double barrel shotgun with 25-1/2” Damascus barrels. The bores are fair, mostly clean with light pitting and patches of rust near the muzzle. The bores are both choked Modified. The barrel rib has illegible markings inlaid in gold. Italian proofs on the water table. The receiver is un-marked. The metal finish on the barrels is in poor condition; they are mostly a brown patina with patches of heavy pitting. The lightly engraved receiver is a blotchy gray/dark gray patina showing patches of older cleaned surface rust. The trigger guard is a rusty brown patina. The checkered walnut forearm and the matching butt stock are in good condition showing scattered dings and scratches with finish wear. European style swivels. Steel butt plate. The action works fine.
