R Serial # 48647. .22 LR semi auto target pistol with a 7” barrel. The bore is excellent. Made c. 1964. 10 shot detachable magazine. Fully adjustable rear sight. Partridge front sight. Similar to the Model 41. The blued metal finish on the slide is in fair condition showing edge wear, thinning and scratches. There are patches of brown patina. The blued metal finish on the steel frame is in fair condition showing edge war and thinning. The trigger, frame and front grip strap have been ground to accommodate a left handed shooter. The checkered walnut target grips with ambidextrous thumb rest are newer replacements, possibly from a newer Model 41. The are in excellent condition showing little wear. The action functions fine. Includes the original blue slip top box with a manual, 2 spare magazines, a screw driver and a photo of the Berks Pistol Club team that won the National Indoor Pistol Championship in 1965 featuring a gentleman holding a Model 46 in his left hand. Only about 4000 made from 1957 to 1966. C&R.
