Serial # 847518. .50 caliber black powder percussion fired rifle with a 28” octagon barrel. The bore is good showing good rifling with fouling in the grooves. Double set triggers. Made in Spain. The barrel has been painted black and shows edge wear, scratches and scattered light rust. The lock plate and hammer show good, faded case color. The plain hardwood half stock with a brass nose cap has been painted black and is in good condition showing scuffs and scratches with cracking and flaking paint. Brass butt plate, patch box, trigger guard and barrel ferrules. Original front and adjustable rear sights. The action works fine. Includes the wood ramrod.
