A vintage mid-century swivel vanity chair distributed by Delta Metal Industries of Brooklyn, New York. The piece features a Hollywood Regency aesthetic with a gilt-finished metal frame constructed from bent rods. The backrest and base are adorned with decorative scrollwork, and a circular footrest ring with interior scrolls provides additional stability. A central threaded screw mechanism allows for height adjustment and a 360-degree swivel. The circular seat and backrest cushions are upholstered in tufted red velvet with central buttons. A partial manufacturer paper label on the underside of the seat reads, DISTRIBUTED BY DELTA METAL INDUSTRIES 81 No. 4th St. Brooklyn, along with federal requirement text and a blank space for date of delivery.Seat Diameter: 11.5 inchesSeat Height: 17 inches.The chair is in fair vintage condition.
