Seiko desk clock with a floating round dial suspended between four fluted gold colored brass columns. The gold foil label on the green felt underside reads Ref. QHE101GLH, MOVT: CHINA, CASE: CHINA, KE2W. The dial is spun gold with black Roman numerals, a minute track, black hour and minute hands, and a fine sweep second hand, with SEIKO printed below twelve. The columns are topped by a curved gold colored cap plate and stand on a matching curved base with stepped column feet. The back of the movement housing has a battery compartment, a set wheel, an alarm on and off slide switch marked with bell symbols, and the sound grille. About five inches tall and five and a half inches wide. Condition is very good with bright plating, clean glass, and only light dust and a few small spots on the base plate. The clock has not been tested and is sold as-is. This is the style often bought as a retirement or service award, and the engraving plate on the base is blank on this example. Estimated Value: $25 to $45 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
