Metal tin sign printed with a 1940s pinup style photograph of a dark haired woman in an off the shoulder gown holding a glass of red wine, with bold red text WINE! and the line HOW CLASSY PEOPLE GET WASTED on a pale green field. About 12 and a half inches tall by 16 inches wide, with a distressed antique finish so it looks scratched and aged out of the package. Edges are rolled and hemmed and there are four pre-drilled mounting holes, one at each corner. Bottom border printed copyright 2010 Ephemera, Inc., www.ephemera-inc.com, License courtesy of bCreative.com, Man. and Dist. by Desperate Enterprises, Inc., www.desperate.com, Made in the U.S.A. Side edge marked DE Sign number 1719, UPC 605279117192, ICC DES 12 8 11. Condition is very good. The face is bright with the intended factory distressing, reverse bare metal with a few small scuffs. This is a reproduction style novelty sign, not an original period advertising sign. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $10 to $20 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
