Lot of three vintage necklaces in a yellow gold color, one of them signed. (1) The signed piece is a graduated ball bead necklace, small beads at the back to large polished balls across the front, with a short extender chain and small ball drop. Hanging at the clasp is a flat gold colored hang tag stamped sarah cov, the mark used by Sarah Coventry. (2) A fine gold colored box chain with smooth round gold beads spaced in a station pattern. (3) A long antiqued gold colored chain of openwork links cast with scrolls, spirals, and small flowers, joined by plain oval connectors, spring ring clasp, with a small decorative charm beside the clasp. Condition is good to very good, bright finish on the ball necklace, some darkening in the filigree recesses that is part of the antiqued look, no broken links noted. Sarah Coventry sold only through home parties from 1949 into the 1980s, so signed pieces have a following. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $25 to $50 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
