Gold Tone Herringbone Necklace and Bracelet

Matching two piece costume set, one necklace and one bracelet, both flat herringbone chain in a bright yellow gold color. (1) The necklace is a long single strand of tightly woven herringbone links with a lobster claw clasp and teardrop shaped end caps. (2) The bracelet is the same chain in a wider gauge, sized for the wrist, with a matching lobster claw clasp and end caps. Both pieces carry a small oval hang tag at the clasp stamped with a crown above script letters set inside a laurel wreath. The mark is crisp in the photos but Crawford Auction Service has not identified it, so no maker is claimed. The finish on both pieces is bright and even, the weave is tight with no kinks or flat spots visible, and there are no broken links or missing sections. Condition is very good. Herringbone lies flat but creases permanently if it is hard bent or twisted, so store it flat or hanging rather than balled up in a box. The seller reports this set is not gold and it is offered as costume jewelry. Estimated Value: $20 to $40 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
