Two vintage gold colored costume chain necklaces, shown together on a display bust and then individually. The first is a twisted rope chain about three millimeters thick with a tight spiral weave that catches the light down its whole length, closing with a small round spring ring clasp and a shaped tag at the other end. The second is a flat snake or serpentine chain in a slightly wider profile, made from close set angled links that give it a smooth ribbon like drape, also on a spring ring clasp with a flat tag. Both measure roughly twenty four inches long. Condition is good. Both chains are supple with no kinks, breaks, or missing links seen, both clasps open and close properly, and there is light plating wear near the clasps and darkening in a few link recesses. Neither chain carried a visible metal content mark, so they are described as gold colored costume pieces rather than gold. Estimated Value: $15 to $25 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
