A single vintage gold colored costume necklace in a hollow woven rope pattern, shown on a display bust and then laid flat for scale. The chain is built from interlocking links that twist into a braided wheat or spiga style rope, roughly three millimeters wide, with a bright polished finish and fine ribbed texture on the outer links. It closes with a lobster claw clasp attached to a shaped flat tag. The necklace measures approximately eighteen inches, a standard princess length that sits right at the collarbone and works on its own or as a base for a pendant. Condition is very good. The chain is supple end to end with no kinks, stretched links, or breaks seen, the clasp opens and closes properly, and there is only light plating wear near the clasp. No metal content mark was visible on the chain or the clasp tag, so this is described as a gold colored costume piece and not as gold. Estimated Value: $10 to $15 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
