Three pairs of sterling silver earrings, two signed James Avery. (1) Wide hammered half hoops with a broad tapered band and dimpled hammered surface, post and butterfly backs. The inside of the band is stamped with a James Avery monogram mark, the copyright symbol, and STER. (2) Full bloom rose studs with deeply carved overlapping petals and a dark antiqued center. The back of each rose is stamped AVERY and STER. (3) Drop earrings still on their original retail card printed sterling silver, with an ornate scalloped and beaded frame around a bezel set faceted red stone that appears to be garnet, on sterling French wires. The back of the frame is stamped 925. Condition is good to very good. The two James Avery pairs show even age darkening consistent with unpolished sterling, and the carded pair is bright and unworn. Both are retired James Avery designs. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $75 to $125 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
