A full size squash blossom style necklace, a double strand of round silver colored beads with matching cluster blossoms down both sides and a large naja pendant at center front. Every blossom and the naja are set with pear shaped and round cabochons in bright even robin egg blue. The naja is a wide horseshoe with a small blossom drop suspended in the center opening. Study the back photos. The reverse of the naja is hand signed SPEER in block letters, the metal on the back reads as a warm brass or gold colored base under a silver colored finish, and the stones are uniform in color with no natural matrix, so this is cataloged as a signed costume or artisan squash blossom rather than sterling Native American work. It closes with a hook and an extender chain with a bead tip. Condition is good with darkening and finish wear on the reverse, all stones present and tight. Stones are untested and described from visual observation only. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $40 to $75 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors. Please review all photos before bidding.
